IBIS Partnerships
Building the Readiness to Scale With Intention
Isabelle Bismuth
The best studios don't just find partners.
They build the system that makes distributed development hold.
Game developers are operating across more partners and more studios than ever and I help the people leading that work build the foundation underneath it, the structure, alignment and relationships that make multi-studio collaboration succeed.
No system aligns on its own. It has to be designed, deliberately, before it's needed, not improvised under pressure.
Build that foundation, and distributed development stops being something you manage around. It becomes a real advantage.
My work sits where co-development strategy, partnership design and multi-studio collaboration meet. 20 years in the game industry, 14 of them spent making collaboration work across studios, partners and continents, on some of the largest AAA productions in the industry.
IBIS Partnerships is built on what that experience actually taught me.
What I Do
For Studios
I work with studio leaders and executives who understand what's at stake in getting this right. Whether it's sister studio alignment, scaling with the right service providers, or both, the goal is the same: build the foundation so it holds up when it matters.
For Partners
I also work with service providers on the readiness that makes developers keep choosing you and on being able to show it. Team structure, communication, reporting. Positioning, industry presence, and when it's needed, an independent voice to help a partnership find its footing again.
When teams are aligned, prepared and supported, distributed development becomes a strategic advantage and a path toward a more sustainable way of building games together.
